This lovely month of May, we are featuring an incredible technique – Sous Vide. Not only is this an absolutely delicious recipe, you can use this method at home without fancy equipment too.
Sous vide is a method that involves cooking vacuum-packed food by immersing it in hot water. It is a slow method, but the results are delicious – like poaching. At home, you can simply use a plastic zip-lock bag, vacuum seal it, and immerse it in boiling water to cook.
This slow cooked mutton stew recipe is filled with the richness of vegetables – carrots, mushrooms, potatoes, peas, tomatoes, celery and onions, and flavourful herbs & spices like rosemary, pepper and bay leaf.
Serve with a side of rice or hot chapatis, and you’re guaranteed to delight your party guests or your family. Let us know how it turns out!
