There’s something about barbecues that brings families together around the world.
The Aussies bring out their large ‘barbies’ every chance they get, while having a
barbecue picnic in the back garden is a favourite British summertime activity.
India of course has its own tandoori food that’s been a staple for centuries, and the
technique has found its way into many modern dishes as well. In this exciting recipe,
we show you how to barbecue a whole chicken with Indian spices.
Start with a true Indian marinade made with fresh yoghurt, ginger-garlic paste,
mustard oil, lemon juice and a bunch of spices, let the chicken rest for an hour, then
grill for a mouth-watering smoky chicken that everyone will just love – we can
guarantee that!
Serve with a side of roasted or mashed potatoes, or some lovely steamed veg.
Enjoy, and let us know how it turned out!
