Check in was expeditious with friendly smiles all through with an upgrade on the room. We were embraced with a garland of shells and a welcome drink. Buggy transport to our place was good. I would say if there were no carriage service then one would do a lot of cardio going around the resort. Yes, it’s a large property.

The whole ambience of this place makes you feel rejuvenated. This great resort hotel consists of many buildings, has a large pool surrounded by conditioning and a seaside swimming pool. Located directly on the shore and just minutes away from the village. Our room was vast, classically elegant. The furniture was dark and clean. Two comfy single beds were present. There were portions of accommodation space. Iron board, minibar, kettle for tea/coffee, digital safe were there. Our room had a large sofa. LED TV and ample power sockets. Free high-speed wireless Internet, so we can upload our holiday photos with peace.

The bathroom was enormous with an ample number of towels along with couple beach towels. We had bath and shower. Everything necessary and toiletries was available.

There are two primary pools which are the important attraction of this place, one occupying the main building and the other near the legacy building looking at the Infinite Ocean (Bay of Bengal)

Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay Activities!

Cycles, quad cycles, ATVs (Quad Bike) on rent to roam around the property. The beach is well secured with a Life guard on watch. One can further take up zorbing over the pool which is truly an experience. One can walk down to the Grand Shore temple from here. The fisher’s village is next to this property. The best part is the Beach Walk and the Sunrise!

The Tea/Coffee & Snacks were complimentary at the Water’s Edge Cafe. Those hot beverages served were excellent. We had buffet breakfast and lunch at the Water’s Edge. Those were a superb spread of veg and non-veg dishes and several mouth-watering desserts.

One of the main attraction activities is the catamaran ride which is a boat ride with the fisherman at mamallapuram at dawn subject to weather ,We were lucky enough to experience the Catamaran ride first hand which is a hour ride into the sea where you enjoy the ride and also get to do some fishing in the middle of bay of bengal and a lovely view of the last standing shore temple as well and if you are lucky enough with low tide like us, you will get to see the top of rest of the Shores temples that was submergered centuries back.

Other attractions – There is a Bodhi Spa and an ayush:ayurvedic therapy center & a fitness center in the resort.
