just made your wish come true. We’ve launched ART Bistro – a concept that’s been in the making for a while, and is close to our hearts. A unique space that houses curated art, the Bistro is the perfect place for candid conversations, creative interactions and social gatherings.
Gourmet Coffee, Art Gallery, International Chefs!
Vikram Cotah – COO of GRT Hotels & Resorts says “It has been designed to be a pop-up restaurant where celebrity and international chefs will showcase speciality cuisine from time to time. The Bistro will double up as an elegant and cheerful space guests can hire for exclusive private events.” At all other times, it will be an art gallery and serve gourmet coffee and single estate teas.
We can’t wait for the celebrity chefs, can you?!
Walking around the ART Bistro is a visual journey. It houses paintings and sculptures curated by city-based Vanjula’s – The Art Atrium. Every piece has been carefully chosen to offer an eclectic selection of art from abstract to folk-inspired.
Two sections display the curated collection – the Eclectic Art section, and the Affordable Art section, where you can pick up beautiful gifts for your art-loving friend.
We were honoured to have talented artists grace our launch, and got to see a painting come to life too!
Directors Talk Art
But GRT doesn’t just stop with one event. We took it one step further and roped in Kollywood film directors Venkat Prabhu and Gautham Menon to discuss what it’s like to be an artist. The interacted with the guests over wine and tapas – the event couldn’t get any better! Or could it.
Mix The Cake!
As the festive season nears, our teams are all geared up for puddings, cakes, turkeys, cocktails, and just a whole lot of joy! Mixing the cake is a yearly ritual and a cherished experience. After all, how often do you get to be a in a room full of delicious dried fruits, aromatic spices and lots and lots of liquor?! Everyone got together to mix this year’s cake at the launch as well. The perfect end to a perfect launch!
