DIY: New Year, New Kebab Recipe!

India has a rich history of dynasties, sieges, wars and brave conquerors. Walk into any museum in the country and you will see an impressive armoury of weapons – guns, daggers, body armours, and swords.

Indeed, the sword has been a symbol of courage and power throughout history. Whether it was Rani Laksmi Bai or the Mughal kings, the greatest rulers are seldom depicted without their prized swords.

As India saw ruler after ruler conquer the country, it also absorbed a strong legacy of culture and cuisine they brought with them. Legend has it that kebabs were introduced into mainstream cuisine in India by the mighty Mughals. Leave it to chefs through the ages to combine food and weapons, and create the talwar kebab!
