This white pumpkin sherbet recipe is quick to make, easy, and packed with nutrition. Not to mention it tastes delicious and is the perfect sherbet to serve at a brunch or family gathering.
White pumpkin is high in dietary fibre, vitamin C, iron and magnesium, while the rose petals add a wonderful flowery flavour and fragrance.
Ingredients:
White pumpkin | 400 gms |
Honey | 100 ml |
Fresh rose petals | 100 gms |
Almond gum | 25 gms |
Method:
- Soak almond gum in cold water for 8 hours.
- Peel a white pumpkin and chop into small pieces.
- In a blender, blend together the honey, fresh rose petals and soaked almond gum, along with some water.
- Grind to a smooth paste and adjust the consistency to your liking, adding water.
- Serve at room temperature.
